During this month, the cool air around the Coachella Valley begins to warm, this signals the end to the dormancy period. The Medjool Date palms have rested in preparation for the new season. The palm trees are cleaned of their dried arm branches which had contained the Medjool Dates. Additionally, some of the lowest palm fan leaves are removed from the trunk of the date palm.
